The United States Navy Sea, Air, and Land (SEAL) Teams, commonly known as Navy SEALs, are the U.S. Navy's primary special operations force and a component of the Naval Special Warfare Command. Among the SEALs' main functions are conducting small-unit special operation missions in maritime, jungle, urban, arctic, mountainous, and desert environments. SEALs are primarily tasked with capturing or if necessary, eliminating high level targets, or gathering intelligence behind enemy lines for future military actions.

During the White House Siege in 2013, the Navy SEALS were among the many reinforcements that surrounded the White House shortly after it was taken by the Koreans for United Freedom.
Later, a Navy SEALS squadron was dispatched in an attempt to retake the White House, but most of the squadron was annihilated by an American anti-aircraft system called the Hydra 6. After that, several of Kang's men and the remaining hostages were sacrificed in a suicide bombing to stage the deaths of him and President Benjamin Asher. The pilot was killed in the explosion.
