The United States of America (USA), commonly called the United States (US or U.S.) and America, is a federal constitutional republic consisting of fifty states, a federal district, and several self governing territories in the Pacific and Caribbean. The United States is a member of the G7 and the United Nations.

The country is situated mostly in central North America, where its forty-eight contiguous states and Washington, D.C., the capital district, lie between the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans, bordered by Canada to the north and Mexico to the south. The state of Alaska is in the northwest of the continent, with Canada to the east and Russia to the west across the Bering Strait. The state of Hawaii is an archipelago in the mid-Pacific.

At 3.79 million square miles and with over 315 million people, the United States is the third-or fourth-largest country by total area, and the third-largest by both land area and population. It is one of the world's most ethnically diverse and multicultural nations, the product of large-scale immigration from many countries.

The geography and climate of the United States is also extremely diverse and is home to a variety of species The nation's government is split into the executive branch, the legislative branch, and the judicial branch. Its government also consists of two major political parties: The Republican Party and Democratic Party.



The United States was founded after the American Revolutionary War when George Washington led the Continental Army to gain independence from Great Britain in the late 1700's.

19th Century[]

During the War of 1812, the British invaded Washington, D.C. and burned the White House. The event marked the only time the White House was taken and America was invaded by a foreign power until the White House Siege 201 years later in 2013.

20th Century[]

The United States was involved in many wars throughout the 20th century such as World War I, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War. The United States was also the rival superpower to the Soviet Union during the Cold War.

21st Century[]

Iraqi Conflict[]

In the early 2000's, the U.S was involved in many conflicts that occurred in the Middle East, particularly in Iraq.

Tragedy at Camp David[]

In 2011, after a fundraiser at Camp David, a tragic event occurred after a car crash that resulted in the death of First Lady Margaret Asher, the wife of President Benjamin Asher.

White House Siege[]

In 2013, Washington, D.C. suffered an aerial assault that led to the White House being taken over by a North Korean terrorist organization called the Koreans for United Freedom. The United States was also in imminent danger when K.U.F. leader Kang Yeonsak activated Cerberus, intending to destroy the country by detonating the entire U.S nuclear arsenal. However, Secret Service agent Mike Banning deactivated Cerberus with three seconds to spare.

Drone Assault on Barkawi[]

In 2014, the United States and the other G8 nations authorized a drone strike to kill wanted arms dealer Aamir Barkawi in Pakistan. However, the attempt failed and Barkawi's daughter was inadvertently killed.

Assassination Attempt[]

In 2019, the Assassination Attempt on Allan Trumbull occurred. After President Allan Trumbull was nearly assassinated in Queen's Lake, Mike was blamed for the attempt but later escaped and sought to expose the real enemy. As a result, a full on manhunt for him occurred in the eastern United States as he was wanted by the FBI and local police but he eventually gave the FBI proof of the real instigators behind the attack - the paramilitary company Salient Global who was hired by Vice President Martin Kirby to assassinate Trumbull in an attempt to demonstrate America as a strong military power and declare war on Russia.

After defeating Salient Global to save President Trumbull and finally clearing his name after a gunfight at St. Matthew's Hospital with the aid of the Secret Service, Mike was exonerated and the crisis in the U.S. finally ended with Vice President Kirby being impeached and arrested for treason.
