The United Kingdom (UK), officially called the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, and sometimes referred to as Britain, is a unitary constitutional monarchy consisting of countries of England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. The country is also a member of the G8 nations and its capital is London.
History
1800's
During the War of 1812, the British invaded Washington, D.C. and burned the White House. The event marked the only time the White House was taken and America was invaded by a foreign power until the White House Siege 201 years later.
20th Century
During World War I, the United Kingdom fought in the war as an Allied power.
London Has Fallen
In 2016, the U.K capital city of London suffered a devastating attack during the London Siege. However, the crisis soon eded and the city was rebuilt before 2019.
