Millennium Entertainment (originally titled Millennium Films) is an American independent global film distributor based in Los Angeles, California. The company acquires and distributes feature films, television series and specialty programming. Millennium Entertainment is 60% owned by production company Nu Image. Exclusive Media Group owns 20% and Prentice Capital owns the remaining stock. The staff includes marketing and distribution specialist Brooke Ford and Andy Gruenberg. In 2010, Millennium Entertainment acquired all of First Look Studios’ assets, and continued to release them in the United States, Canada, Bermuda, and other U.S. Territories. Much of their productions have also been distributed by Lionsgate Entertainment.

In April 2013, it was announced that Millennium Entertainment would be sold, and an investment company, Salem Partners, will assist in the sale. In August 2014, the company's library and distribution assets had been sold to a consortium consisting of its current management and Virgo Investment Group. The company also distributed material by UFC -Ultimate Fighting Championship and Video Asia.

Behind the Scenes

It is a production company founded by Avi Lerner, along with his late brother Danny Lerner. The company was responsible for the production of Olympus Has Fallen and London Has Fallen.
