Lee Tae-Woo was the Prime Minister of South Korea until his assassination by North Korean terrorist Kang Yeonsak during the White House Siege in 2013.
Biography
Olympus Has Fallen
On July 5, 2013, Lee-Tae-Woo visited Washington, D.C. to discuss tensions with North Korea. However, he was unaware that several in his security detail were members of the Koreans for United Freedom (K.U.F) a terrorist paramilitary organization headed by Kang Yeonsak (who was disguised as the chief aide of his security detail under the alias of Park).
When there was confirmation of an air assault on Washington, D.C. by a C-130 Hercules, Lee Tae-Woo along with Benjamin Asher and several U.S executive officials were evacuated to the P.E.O.C. bunker.
However, his security detail revealed their true colors when they, along with Dave Forbes killed all of the bunker's occupants, taking Benjamin Asher and several executive officials hostage. Moments after the White House was captured inside and outside, Lee Tae-Woo was assassinated by Kang live via a video connection to the Pentagon.
However, he was avenged by Mike Banning after he killed Kang and the remaining terrorists, also saving South Korea from a potential North Korean invasion.
