Jekyll Island is located off the coast of the U.S. state of Georgia, in Glynn County. It is one of the Sea Islands and one of the Golden Isles of Georgiabarrier islands. The island is owned by the State of Georgia and run by a self-sustaining, self-governing body.
In 2016, Allan Trumbull went on a fishing trip to Jekyll Island. However, he returned to the White House after the death of British Prime Minister James Wilson. He and Mike Banning later discussed his trip.
