The 1st Special Forces Operational Detachment–Delta (1st SFOD-D), commonly referred to as Delta Force, Combat Applications Group (CAG), or within JSOC as Task Force Green, is a special operations force of the United States Army, under operational control of the Joint Special Operations Command. The unit is tasked with missions primarily involving counter-terrorism, hostage rescue, direct action, and special reconnaissance, often against high-value targets.

In 2016, during the London Siege, Allan Trumbull inserted a Delta Force team to escort Mike Banning and President Benjamin Asher to the U.S. Embassy of London, where they would be safely extracted. However, Islamic terrorists working for Aamir Barkawi intercepted the message and got to warehouse before the Delta team could, disguising themselves as the team. However, they were all killed by Mike.
Soon after President Asher was captured by the terrorists for live execution, a joint squad of Special Air Service and Delta Force led by Will Davies arrived. the team mounted an assault on the terrorist hideout. They were able to take out many terrorists, while losing some soldiers. Soon after, Mike saved Asher and ordered Davies to blow the hideout, killing Kamran Barkawi and the remaining terrorists, while Mike and Asher took cover in an elevator shaft.
